Identità / Identity

Blindfolded
I’m dancing
Ho incontrato
Miraggi disillusi,
In città coinvolte
Nella nebbia di languore.
Parlano le mura
Di pensieri torbidi,
E il rosa collassa
Dentro istinti perduti,
Identità spezzate.
E la statua di Mercurio sorride,
Dietro queste nuvole di cemento,
Quelle su cui ho camminato.
E appartengo
Solo alle nuvole,
Ai silenzi
Di stanze in affitto,
Di mura bruciate,
E radici congelate.
La pelle
In cui sei cresciuta
Parla soltanto
del modo in cui eri.
/
I met
Disenchanted illusions,
Cities involved
In the languishing fog.
Walls speak
Of turbid thoughts,
And pink collapses
Into instincts lost,
Broken identities.
And Mercury’s statue is smiling,
Behind these concrete clouds,
The ones I have been walking.
And I belong,
To clouds only,
To the silence
Of a rented room,
Of burnt walls
And frozen roots.
The skin
You outgrow
Only talks
About the way
You used to be.
